Caffeine

Ohh how much I regret now that I have the side effect from drinking the Teh Tarik (pulled tea) just now.

My heart is pounding fast, and I am shaking. Ya, sounded like I just met my dream guy.

Urgh, this feeling is just killing me. Can't go to sleep either cause I have slept for two hours this afternoon, and I just showered my hair.

I know, it's been a while since I last update again. I have been MIA on and off quite often lately. Been too busy, or just moodless to blog.

Onions sting

Hai ya, it's been a while since I last update (guilty of self).  Fear not, I am back again.

Well, this post is something about onion as you have noticed from the title.  I don't like onion, as well as garlic and ginger.  I used to not eat any kind of onions, as in eat it cook, raw, smoke, steam, deepfry, and many other methods that you can possible think of with those stinky onions.

When my uncle found out that I do not like to eat onions, he cooks those onions everyday till I learned how to swallow it down.  I still don't like onions though, especially those raw ones with burger.  I do admit that onions do make the meals more appetizing.  It enhance the flavour of the dish.  So, when I cook, I do include them in the dishes.

'Slaughtering' an onion is not something easy either.  They sting and make your eyes watery.  I remember when I was doing a school project, I came across a piece of newspaper showing some methods to deal with those sting.  Some of them are quite lame, but I am going to include it anyway.
Hahaha...  I love this little onion head, especially their emoticons.
The first option is just to use the chopper.  You know the thing that comes with a cup on the bottom, and you can simply put the whole onion in there, then start to press from top down?

Use a fan to blow the smells away.  Ya, lame too.

Picture googled.

Use candle.  Why candle you might ask.  Well, that's because candle needs oxygen to burn.

Picture from thelittleflavourboxcompany.com  They have lots of other pretty candles for sale.

Last but not least, chew gums.  This will works because you are not breathing from your nose as much when you are chewing gums.

Even your cat can chew gums nowadays.  Picture googled.

I have personally tried using the chopper and chewing gums.  I use the chopper because I want the onion pieces to be smaller.  So is quicker to just use the chopper.  Chewing gums works for just a little while, if you are not having too many onions to chop.

Anyway, these are just small tips to get you through your life a little bit easier.  Got to go, ciao.

Long time no joke.

I noticed that my blog is lack of some jokes lately. So... the other day, I purposely read some newspaper and got some(forgot all of them but one), somewhat funny joke to share. So here we go.

Husband: Why do you always keep my picture in your purse when you go to work?

Wife: It makes me feel better if I face difficulties in the office.

Husband: Aww~ I didn't know that my picture alone can create such a remedy to you.

Wife: I will just look at your picture and think to myself, what other difficulties that are harder to handle than the one in the picture that I have already handled?

Haha, I find it quite funny.  Here's another one, in picture.  I took it from a T-shirt I saw.

Really?  But I notice men don't really fart.  It is usually the women farts more that scared the men away, especially after dating for a while and men thinks that women are just that perfect...

Took it from the same shop where I found the T-shirt.  Quite funny, eh?

Rural?!

I am at a place where most people will call it rural. But just how rural can this place be?

Oh... Let me elaborate then. This place can be so rural that it does not have shopping mall?! That doesn't bother me much though. I am not that much into shopping anyway. Wait, the cell phone coverage is poor? This is fine too as long as it still works. No movie theater? No problemato. They have internet access here. No airport? By express then, takes just a few hours. But... no electricity for days????? Oh no. What am I suppose to do without the electricity? Especially under this crucial hot sun? No~~~ I don't know what can I do in the house, dark even in the day, no where to go during the day...

No electricity = no internet = no life.

Haiz... Yes, complaining again. Hopefully I am able to find something to do then. Only those rural area where a small case has to be settled with much hassles. You can have no water or electricity for days onward. What do they care anyway? This is after all, a rural area that most people have long forgotten...

I want the usual stuff back, thanks.

Aside from that rural part of the story, I am sick yet again... That sandy throat is back to haunt me again. Boo~ K, TV time. Ciao.
